Meadows took to the mountains!

The six strong team from Meadows & Co climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours. The team of Neil Rowland, Gavin Snape, Brian Holland, Brett Cook, Cindy Milburn and Katie Summerfield started at midday on Saturday and finished on Sunday. Gavin Snape said "..the challenge at the best times is extremely difficult but was made even harder as we had to encounter blistering heat during the day, a very cold night and we even encountered snow and ice at the top of Ben Nevis."

The idea of the charity climb came when one of Meadows’ clients was diagnosed with leukaemia. Senior partner, Neil Rowland, wanted to do something to support the Anthony Nolan Trust and came up with the challenge.

The Anthony Nolan Trust takes back lives from leukaemia by managing and recruiting new donors to the UK’s most successful bone marrow register as well as undertaking vital research leading to improvements in the effectiveness and safety of bone marrow transplants. It is also responsible for finding suitable unrelated donors for patients who require bone marrow transplants.
