Meet the Team
To me, accountancy is like computing, garbage in can lead to garbage out. In my many years at Meadows, I take pride in having had very little of the former and not having provided any of the latter – unlike my racing tips and golf!
I am a member of a number of social organisations and was a school governor for over 20 years. I have set up and run a number of beer festivals in Kettering and still organise a dinner in aid of local charities. Apart from cycling and dog walking, my favourite pastime is sitting in a pub garden, with of course, a pint of beer.
I joined Meadows from college many years ago and am still here. When I’m not enjoying work, until recently I played cricket for Isham, but my passion for food and drink overcame my love of playing. I still play golf occasionally and I’m a committed fan and season ticket holder at Northampton Saints.
I joined Meadows over 30 years ago and still enjoy every single working day here. I have two young children who certainly take up a lot of my spare time and more but they keep me young! If I do get any spare time I enjoy playing pool and in my younger days I played for the county. I am Chair of Governors at a local school, treasurer of the local Royal British Legion and sit on the East Midlands Loan Panel.
I am just an accident waiting to happen. Having a titanium plate put into my shoulder after a riding accident, stitches in my head after a sailing accident I have now taken up a new much safer hobby………………………………shooting!
I joined Meadows when I finished school, left for a few years to work in industry and have now been back for over 13 years. In my spare time I enjoy playing badminton and ten pin bowling.
I joined Meadows in 2007 as an accounts junior and qualified in 2012 after previously working in retail. Out of work, my two young children keep me busy / entertained, and for my sins I’m an Arsenal fan!
Although a relative newcomer to Meadows, I have worked in accountancy and audit for many years. Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my family – teaching our two young boys to do as I say, not as I do. I also play football regularly and always get the best value when attempting a round of golf, usually by taking twice as many shots as anyone else!!
I have been working at Meadows for 7 years and counting. In my free time I enjoy reading, live music and travelling Europe. I am also a keen (albeit poor) squash player.
After qualifying in 2004 I have spent most of my post qualification years at Meadows, joining the firm in 2006. Outside of the office family life keeps me busy and with 3 young children time for hobbies is at a premium. On occasion however I can be seen wandering aimlessly around a golf course and cheering on Derby County FC (for my sins) but overall I enjoy nothing more than spending quality time with the family and friends.
I usually have my head in the clouds as I’m an enthusiastic glider pilot flying from the London Gliding Club. When time allows I also enjoy walking. My cup is always three quarters empty!
I have worked at Meadows part-time in the admin department since August 2003. In my spare time I enjoy cooking especially baking. I am renowned for my New York cheesecake which I am asked to make regularly and my pancakes that I make each Shrove Tuesday where any donations go to charity.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and two cats and two dogs. I love walking with my dogs but prefer to walk on the beach rather than country parks because I don’t like getting muddy but unfortunately, my spaniels do! My other interests are old aircraft, steam trains and canal boats. I have worked at Meadows a long time and especially enjoy all the interesting clients I get to talk to and lovely people I work with.
I am a newcomer to Meadows having joined in 2017, but I have worked in the accountancy profession for many years. Outside of work I enjoy reading crime novels, going to the theatre and travelling.
Well, I don’t know where the time has gone but I’ve been at Meadows now for 30 years! It’s flown by due to the great people I work with and the lovely family atmosphere. When they let me out I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping and gardening. I also suffer from a mild addiction to hugely pointless games on my iPad.
I am a seasoned member of Meadows as I joined from school and returned to the fold after raising my family. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dogs and gardening.
I am currently on maternity leave but am returning soon.
I became a fully-fledged member of Meadows around 7 years ago. After taking a break to start a family I returned part time. I enjoy being a mum, gardening and travelling.
I have worked in the accountancy profession for many years and after having my son, joined Meadows as part of the admin team in 2011. In my spare time I enjoy gardening and spending quality time with my family.
I joined Meadows in 2010 and have been working in the tax department ever since. I am a keen sports fan and play five-a-side football a few times a week, as well as playing for a local pool team. I am also an occasional amateur golfer!
I joined Meadows in 2010 and have since been studying towards the ACCA qualification. My recent wedding has been keeping me busy but I enjoy being active. In the evenings I am usually out and about at the gym with friends, or horse riding which I have been doing from the age of 4. I thoroughly enjoy being in the countryside and walking my Chocolate Labrador Poppie.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends and get involved with humanitarian projects through my Temple. In my other spare time I read, walk and cook but have recently become more interested in travel and experiencing different cultures.
I joined Meadows in 2014 following in my mother’s footsteps who worked at Meadows 20 years ago. In my spare time I am a keen archer and am the Robin Hood of Meadows!

I am a relative newcomer to Meadows having joined in 2015, but I have worked in the accountancy profession for many years. I love gardening and hope one day to turn my garden into something that would rival Chelsea Flower Show. A peaceful haven to sip my Chardonnay!
